Our Clear Lake, WI facility is in search of a self motivated and dynamic individual to fill the position of Continuous Improvement Specialist. The Continuous Improvement Specialist will utilize a diverse set of skills in project design, leadership, and management to drive performance and process development.

A Day in the Life | Responsibilities We Trust You With:

  • Evaluates all continuous improvement activities and implements plans to optimize performance and processes, to increase efficiency and recue waste.
  • Regularly monitors the implementation of solutions to achieve objectives and expected benefits through the use of visible and transparent KPI’s
  • Employs Lean methodologies tools and techniques in order to accomplish set goals
  • Supports and facilitates the RCA of technical problems: e.g., formulation, equipment, product, interpretation of regulations, resource availability.
  • Establishes criteria for the project’s success and prepares a sound statement of constraints, develops SMART objectives
  • Establishes a clear and well-articulated implementation plan
  • Secures commitment from process managers, leadership team and other involved parties.
  • Clearly identifies required team members and clarifies their roles and responsibilities within the projects/initiative
  • Owns the Site Cost Reduction plan
  • Clearly defines methodology to be used to attack losses

What You Must Know | Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in CI role
  • Manufacturing experience, food preferable
  • Proven track record in Facilitating, Coaching and Training employees in Lean Manufacturing and TPM Ways of Working
  • Experience working with OEE with the ability to deep dive into performance data to identify trends
  • Has the ability to work within a matrix
  • Clear and concise communicator
  • Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Must have excellent facilitation skills, project management skills, and drive for results
  • Familiarity with safety in a continuous improvement environment
