Why We Need You:
Accomplish the organizations strategic objectives by scheduling the work activity of the Maintenance Technicians. Prepares efficient & effective work plans for all preventive, predictive, & condition-based maintenance work. Ensures all necessary parts are available, proper internal & external labor resources are available, & coordinates scheduling through the Operations Team. Maintains the flow of information between Operations, Maintenance, & Engineering.  Identifies & escalates problems proactively and participates in process improvement initiatives.

A Day in the Life | Responsibilities We Trust You With:

  • Plan all Maintenance orders in conjunction with the production plan, including resource availability, in a coordinated way.  Prioritize critical work, escalate as necessary
  •  Manage all data in Antero to include, equipment creation and modifications of PMs for new/modified/replaced equipment
  • Monitor work order backlog, schedule in a timely manner to maintain a reasonable level
  • Maintain and assure that the maintenance calibration equipment certification documents are up to date and in good working condition.
  • Obtain quotes and create requisitions for parts as needed for Maintenance work orders
  • Monitor mechanic data entry, and report forward as necessary to ensure system contains meaningful & comprehensive data. Provide additional training, as needed
  • Evaluate operations requests with Maintenance Supervisor & Manager. Provide feedback to requestors, as necessary
  • Review of trends in work orders and recommend changes in PM frequency and tasks based on findings
  • Attend and participate in daily maintenance meeting, providing updates as necessary
  • Responsible for adhering to all quality systems requirements
  • Follows plant rules and complies with applicable regulatory standards
  • Responsible to meet all food safety, quality and customer requirements for this position

What You Must Know | Education and Experience:

  • 2 yr. Associate Degree in a Trade
  • 3-5 yrs. experience with maintenance management systems (SAP) desired
  • Experience as a Lead or in a Supervisor capacity preferred
  • Ability to understand and initiate change

 What You Need to Be Good At | Competencies and Skills:

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to accept and facilitate direction
  • Computer literate, with knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong verbal and technical writing skills required
  • Makes decisions that show understanding of issues
  • Ability to handle multiple demands

  • Work is performed mainly in the plant and at times in the office

  • Ability to be flexible with schedule and work weekends and holidays at times
