Maintenance Mechanic

Will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and replacing industrial equipment and machinery used in a food manufacturing and packaging environment. Industrial electrical experience and skills are essential for this position. Prior food manufacturing experience is required; aseptic experience is preferred.

Position Requirements:

Ability to work well in a team-based environment with limited supervision
Excellent knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, compressors, motors, controllers, air systems, and pumps
Ability to quickly and efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, PLC logic diagrams, and blueprints
Minimum of 3 – 5 years previous experience working with industrial, mechanical, and electrical equipment
Able to effectively communicate in English
Work in a hot, humid environment and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Must have own hand tools
Must be able to work any of 3 shifts
Working knowledge of GMPs within a food manufacturing facility
Other duties as assigned
