Zausner Foods Corp, a subsidiary of Savencia Fromage and Dairy, a $5 billion global cheese & dairy group headquartered in Paris, France, is looking for a highly motivated candidate to fill the position of. Financial/General Accountant. This position works in our shared services group located in New Holland, Lancaster County and is responsible for general accounting activities that may include financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, journal entries, KPI reporting, and Fixed Asset depreciation.

RESPONSIBLITIES

• Preparation of primary financial statements
• General Ledger Accounting and reporting for multiple entities
• Fixed Asset (Sage software)
• Forecasting and tracking of capital projects
• Responsible for month end/year end close activities
• Account reconciliations
• Maintenance of accounting systems locally and for consolidation reporting
• KPI reporting
• Maintains internal controls
• Interfacing with external and internal auditors
• Interface with Accounting Group in our parent company Savencia

 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• BS in Accounting or related field
• 3 - 5 years of experience - preferably in a manufacturing environment
• SAP experience helpful but not required
• Experience/comfort with business process management and change
