We are in search of a self-motivated creative person to help lead the AFP Marketing Team in the position of Senior Marketing Manager for Retail & CoPack!

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy Planning

• Develop comprehensive marketing strategies to accelerate growth, aligning with overall business objectives and sales goals for private label customers and co-pack partners.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for market expansion, including new customer, channels, etc via syndicated data, market research and customer data sets.

Brand Management

• Develop comprehensive consumer marketing strategies and activations to accelerate growth, aligning with overall business objectives and sales goals.
• Create engaging content and promotional materials that drive awareness, generate leads, and support sales efforts.
• Responsible for tradeshow coordination and execution for business units

Vendor Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors/agency of record to ensure product availability, quality, negotiate contract terms.
• Responsible for all syndicated data analysis and selling story creation.

Product Development

• Develop innovation strategy and commercialization plans by supporting insight development and application, portfolio integration, list price and cross channel pricing recommendations.

Budget Management

• Manage budget for projects and/ or marketing activities for specific business unit.
• Responsible for entering, processing and validating estimates, purchase orders and invoices related to all marketing and internal event activities

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA strongly preferred)
• Minimum 3-5 years in progressive experience in retail marketing roles, preferably experience with a leading food company
• Experience in retail brand management and media execution preferred
• Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
• Superior problem-solving skills for long term issue resolution
• Quick decision making and ability to concentrate
• Solid analytical skills
