Cheeseburger Stuffed Mushrooms


8 large stuffing mushrooms

¼ cup chopped onion

1 Tbsp oil

½ lb hamburger meat

1 egg

8 oz AFP Aged Cheddar Cheese Sauce

paprika, for garnish


  • Clean mushrooms – remove stems and chop stems
  • In medium pan, sauté onions and stems in oil for 2-3 minutes
  • Drain and set aside, let cool
  • Mix cooked onion mixture, hamburger and egg – form 8 meatballs
  • Place meatballs in prepared mushroom caps
  • Bake at 375°F for 10-12 minutes
  • Top with AFP Aged Cheddar Cheese Sauce and sprinkle tops with paprika
